Oi!
Took me forever, this one did!
Still playing around with styles of shading and painting. I really like how this one came out. I still see some problems that I will keep in mind the next time I do one, but in all, this was a learning experience. And relatively fun.
Also, crappy background is crappy.
Well, here is Furret! I gotta say, for a common Normal type pokemon, this one is one of my favs. In the original Gold, the moment I saw Sentret, I HAD to have one. He stayed on my team to the final go. And in Soul Silver, this is no different. He may even be one of my top 10 fav Pokemon of all. At the very least, he's my fav Normal Type. So much better than the commons from the other games (Ratatta, Zigzagoon, and Bidoof.)

Wow this is really nice! I mean yeah, I can certainly agree that the background looks like it was a quickie, but I'm hardly one to say anything as I'm usually too lazy to bother with BGs myself. 
But other than that, it really does look great. The way you rendered furret with more realistic anatomy, and the texture that you managed to give to the fur seriously came out awesome... nice work!
